David W. White Jr. is a former president of the Massachusetts Bar Association (2007-2008). Ronald E. Gluck is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He has devoted his thirty year career to representing victims of serious personal injury and wrongful death. He represented victims of the 9-11 World Trade Center attacks as a pro bono advocate. He has obtained multi million dollar results for his clients in cases involving wrongful death, spinal injuries, severe orthopedic injuries, traumatic brain injuries and burn injuries. Attorney David White comments on today's Boston Globe article showing the state failed to inspect the majority of mall escalators regularly in the years leading up to last month's mall escalator accident that killed a child.
"It is encouraging that the state is now catching up on the backlog of inspections. What is discouraging, however, is how many violations they are finding. This is a strong indication that property owners and their own service companies may be putting the public at a severe risk."
